DEMOLITION
When existing flooring needs to be removed, Rusty Spurr Coatings utilizes a ride-on floor scraper to efficiently handle large-scale demolition. This equipment allows for the removal of various flooring types quickly and effectively, with the ability to clear over 2,000 square feet per hour.

PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is essential to achieving a durable, long-lasting coating. Rusty Spurr Coatings uses a full range of professional-grade equipment—including grinders, scarifiers and shot blasters—to remove mastic, thin set, adhesives, sealers, paint, epoxy and other surface contaminants.
These machines are highly efficient and designed to operate with minimal dust, ensuring a clean and controlled work environment. Our shot blaster alone can prepare up to 1,400 square feet per hour and is capable of removing painted or resin-based lines as narrow as four inches. This level of precision ensures the surface is properly prepared for optimal coating adhesion and performance.
